Deanna D’Olier is the Associate Director of the Hawai‘i Association of Independent Schools (HAIS). In this capacity, Deanna works to develop professional development opportunities and conferences for students, educators and administrators, as well as providing oversight for accrediting and licensing private schools in Hawai‘i.
Deanna has over 20 years of experience in education and has served in various leadership capacities for schools and nonprofits. Her previous roles have included: middle school science and technology teacher, technology coordinator, educational consultant, accreditation support specialist and director of programs. She holds a BS in Marketing and Communications from New York University and a master’s degree in Private School Leadership, from UH-Manoa. Deanna is an island girl at heart, having grown up in Puerto Rico and ultimately making Oahu home with her husband and two daughters.
