Dr. John Scott, MasterClass
Dr. John Scott is head of learning design and strategy at MasterClass at Work. Throughout his 15+ year career in education as an instructor, researcher, visual artist, and learning designer, he has pioneered creative and collaborative approaches to digitally-mediated learning, storytelling, and community-based artistic practice. He received a PhD from the University of California Berkeley in learning sciences and digital media, and his research on digital storytelling, social learning, learning analytics, and online/blended course design have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.

What kinds of skills and mindsets do leaders need to develop to thrive in the age of Artificial Intelligence? Dr. John Scott’s keynote will explore why generalists who can use lateral thinking to traverse professional knowledge domains will be best equipped to leverage AI for creative problem solving and innovation. As well as, why learning through storytelling is a powerful way to develop lateral thinking skills, and learn first-hand through the stories and insights of a diverse collection of luminaries and changemakers how to build a culture of innovation at an organization.
