After joining G70 in 1989, Linda became the company’s youngest principal seven years later and served as president & chief operating officer from 2008-2013.
Linda’s architectural expertise is adaptive reuse renovations and new construction for both resort hospitality and commercial projects. Some notable resort projects include the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina, St. Regis Princeville Resort, Waikiki Trade Center’s conversion to a Hyatt Centric Hotel & retail podium, Prince Waikiki, Hyatt Regency Waikiki, Hyatt Place Waikiki (recipient of the “Hyatt turn-around of the year award”), and the Grand Waikikian Timeshare & Lagoon Tower renovation at Hilton Hawaiian Village.
An advocate in bringing out the best in people and places, Linda oversaw the conversion of the iconic Aloha Tower Marketplace’s 2nd floor retail into much-needed student apartment lofts, providing an anchor for Hawaii Pacific University’s downtown campus and Retail establishments. Linda’s passion for envisioning master plans and strategizing how to bring them into reality is evident in the Maui County Master Plan, New Office Building and Service Center project and the 10-year vision for the Hawaii State Art Museum, Offices, Visitor Center & Sculpture Garden.
This Pacific Century Fellows alumnus also received the Pacific Business News Forty Under 40 Award. A UH School of Architecture graduate, Linda also served on the board directors for AIA Honolulu and Laulima Ministries International.
