About this speaker
Born and raised in Kalihi, Nicole Velasco’s childhood was most influenced by Hawaiian and local Japanese culture. As a young adult, she lived in Italy, Aotearoa, Silicon Valley, and New York City—experiences that strengthened her internarrative identity.
Today, Nicole serves Hawai'i, Alaska, and the PNW as the development lead for NORESCO, an energy services company. Nicole’s public speaking engagements focus on leadership development, generational synergy, gender equity, and advocacy for fellow survivors of domestic violence.
