John Barkai - former Detroit criminal trial lawyer, law professor for over 50 years (46 at UH), teaches courses about negotiation, ADR, litigation, and evidence, has made many presentations in Hawaii, nationally, and internationally; BBA, MBA, and JD from the University of Michigan; received the UH Regent's Medal for Excellence in Teaching,twice voted the "Professor of the Year;" author of “Negotiation and Mediation Communication Gambits for Breaking Impasses and More” (on Amazon), over 120 evidence handbooks (for every state and many Asian, Pacific Island, and African countries), two cartoon books, numerous articles, and has run 35 Honolulu marathons.
